Our client is a middle sized innovative and leading services provider here in Luxembourg. They pride themselves on providing superior value to their customer and building longterm relationships with them.

They are currently looking for a

Senior Java Developer
(CDD 12 months)
to

• take part in the development of distributed software application (multi-tier environment) using Java programming language
• support requirements, analysis, design, implementation and test within the Unified Lifecycle
• supervise and coach junior developers
• apply existing standards for programming, naming, security, performance
• provide proper code documentation
• create, execute and document tests to ensure an application meets business requirements


To be successful in this role, you need :

• IT university degree
• Minimum 5 years experience in Java and J2EE development
• Working experience in one of these application packages : JES, Sun App Servers, Sun Web Server
• Professional web technologies expertise
• Practical knowledge of J2EE design competences
• Practical knowledge of UML
• Skilled in several or all of HTML, CSS, JSP, JSF, AJAX, (ICEFace, GWT), Servlets, EJB, Web services, SQL, XML, JavaScript
• As an advantage ; Oracle/Sun Solaris and SOA implementation experience
• Software and information modeling skills
• Technical coaching experience of junior staff
• Fluent written and spokent English and French. German and Luxembourgish are an advantage
