Our client is part of one of the world's largest asset management groups. They are creating a new function within their small Luxembourg office to take on the role of oversight for their Luxembourg registered UCITs funds. So if you are happy to work in a small office, are a technically competent fund accountant able to create and manage this new function, our client is looking for someone to be a hands-on: Fund Oversight Associate (Ref 1001-29ET) Your function: maintain professional relationship with portfolio managers, board of directors delegates and compliance officers oversee all the fund regulatory reporting, daily NAV calculations, expenses, dividends, taxes etc monitor adherence to the funds investment guidelines, boards of directors, and internal policy decisions as well as local & foreign regulatory restrictions - participate in due diligence of service providers
- take part in the implementation of new funds from the accounting of instruments perspective
- co-ordination foreign market registrations
- preparation and/or review of board of directors materials
Your profile: minimum BAC + 3 degree in legal / business administration or economics or relevant experience at least 4 years experience in fund administration, ideally in an oversight role strong experience in fund accounting and fund financial reporting legal, regulatory and policy framework know how fluency in English with French being an advantage excellent communication skills, both spoken and written problem solving skills PC literate Word, Excel and Access attention to details and constant focus on quality and client service
