We are currently looking to recruit a Top Accounting Manager willing to join a fast-growing commercial company which has settled down an entity in Luxembourg recently. The position will report to the Group Financial Controller based in London and will involve the management of the office as well as a small team.
YOUR ROLE:
This role has a number of key constituent parts, namely:
* Preparation of monthly management accounts and reporting pack for the Luxembourg companies to agreed timescales for review by the Group Financial Controller
* Preparation of periodic financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flow, variance analysis and commentaries for the Luxembourg companies (LUX GAAP/IFRS)
* Management of income and expenditure, sales, payroll and maintenance for the Luxembourg companies
* offer professional judgment on financial matters and advising on ways of improving business performance
* VAT management across the Group
* Implement corporate governance procedures, risk management and internal controls
* Maintenance of Maintenance Reserve Model, liaising across the Group with other functions
* Supervision of accounting staff for daily bookkeeping
YOUR PROFILE
* ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified (or equivalent qualification)
* Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a local trust or commercial environment
* Experience working in an international finance function and be used to working under IFRS
* Strong Excel and IT skills, ideally with knowledge of Basware, Vision and Sun
* Effective and proactive communicator at all levels
* Able to work on own initiative
* Able to build effective working relationships and provide internal customer service
* Previous team management experience
* Previous experience taking on general management/other commercial management responsibility
* Fluent in English
